We’re back for 2008! Noosa Jazz Festival returns to Hastings St, Noosa Heads from Thursday 4 through Sunday 7 September.
We’ve been hard at work making some drastic changes for this year. What you will notice is a more user friendly festival layout, still the quality talent but venues placed within walking distance.
Along with the restaurants offering our unique Jazz packages; there are now less venues and more stages all located within the Hastings Street precinct. The festival takes in 2 outdoor sites, Noosa Heads, Lions Park with 3 fully enclosed stages, and The Woods, with 1 enclosed stage, both situated along the picturesque Noosa River with daily cruises along the Noosa River available.
Consequently, the ticketing has been simplified and we’re now able to offer ‘Daily Passes’, allowing you access to all venues. This new system provides you with excellent value for money.
Headlining the festival for 2008 is Jackson Jackson, Los Delincuente All Stars, Watussi, The Bamboos, The Hoodangers, The Moods, Society Syncopators, Sweet Lowdowns, Yvette Johansson, Joe Ruberto Trio, Bob Malone Trio, Becky Fox Quintet, Geoff Bull's Olympia Band, Ed Wilson Big Band, Jeff Duff Quartet, Anita Spring Quartet, Matt Baker Trio and many more!
